Channel Manager or sometime referred to as Channel Management  is the process of managing room availability and room rates that are then distributed across different distribution channels around the world. Channel managers are used to distribute and update different offers (price, commercial conditions, etc.) across different partner booking platforms.


To avoid over bookings, a hotel’s inventory needs to be continually updated across all of the distribution channels that are being used, including direct online bookings, travel agents & wholesalers, and OTAs to name a few.


In some cases, the channel manager is not a stand-alone software but simply a module linked to a PMS or a booking engine.

HotelAppz interfaces with Channel Manager systems in order to aggregate the data into HotelAppz’s Customer Data Platform, so that it can be easily used by hoteliers in their targeted marketing campaigns.
